Curly Wurly

So last year I asked my sister to help me with my Art major assessment and she came across this on Youtube and when she made it, I was so fascinated with this because it was such a beautiful process putting those 8 curler units together to form this amazing piece of Origami. So I took the time to recreate this the other day to kill some time while I was on my holidays. I have previously came across a kusudama version and it looks spectacular, the intricate curls just makes it look so gentle and delicate. However this piece is just beautiful in its own way regardless of its simplicity than those out there. 

Ones woman's trash is another woman's treasure

A piece of my HSC art major (year 12 major assessment) and my inspiration was about today's environment and  how it influences the way our society disregards what is happening around us. The rubbish concept came to mind and made me realise that many people don't see the value in something that has been used once or more. I have used my skills in origami and brought it to use and used old paper that has been already used and created this piece that looks like an explosion of little pieces of origami coming out from a rubbish bin.

todays is one of those rare days you can't imagine at school
1. found out about award winners at recess
2. get to meet my family friends that's coming to cheso next year
3. had an unexpected assembly
4. have heaps of fun on the laptop since ages XDD

awesome day at two places! :D

9:00- went to cheso station with veronica & Jennifer
10:00- at some station
11:00- at parra met ann and friends
11:30 watching harry potter!
2:00- left for livo
3:00- met the guys at livo
       - went straight to the cinemas
       - watched paranormal activity 2
       - got popcorn chucked on my face (aarrggghhh)
5:15- left to go home
      - met ann and friends at cabra station coincidently :D
6:00- went home with jennifer found out no one was home (rare to happen)
      -  went at the back door and broke into house.
      - got soooo hungry without eating any proper food throughout the whole day I eventually complained at home. Searching for food! OMG I'M EATING NOODLES! (instant noodles :P)
TODAY WAS EPIC! :D
